| ...born in Bergen, Norway (1976-jeez-it's-been-30-years!!)
- but has been moving around quite a lot and has had adresses all over Bergen. She spent her early childhood years right outside of Oslo and lived 3 years in Vendée, France - an hour drive from La Rochelle (in case you don't know: Come on! We're talking the West coast here!). |

During the last 10 years though, Villa:K has
stuck to her hometown, ravaging almost every stage there is, involved in various projects. The latest one brought her the the National Theatre in Bergen, as she with the band YR sang poems by the Norwegian poet Inger Hagerup, in cooperation with her son, Klaus Hagerup. YR will be touring the eastern parts of Norway ultimo April (-06) and a CD is to be released in the fall. Anyway... |

The first band on her CV appears as
Villa:K met the infamous guitar player Knut Skårdalsmo. This was the beginning of VIVID, a fresh new breath involving no less then two leading female singers. After roaming the town, playing heaps of venues
and festivals, and recording an EP, it all came to anb end, around 1992. Inspite poetry-singingVilla:K is above all about rock!
-it's about time this side of her broke free!

The last couple of years Villa:K has been engulfed in a highly creative solo-project. Unfortunately this was never brought out to a live audience, nevertheless she got some time on the radio...("Amazing") It's expected that you click here to check out what you're reading about! So. The latest Villa:K fun factory product came along as she entered the realm of Mr.Barillion (aka Håvard Sætrevik). Together their minds come up with everything you've never thought of. It's highly recommended that you spend the next fifteen minutes listening to these pearls! |
